Located on a Dune, the Camping de l'Ermitage is less than 100 meters from the lake, in a rich forest of pines, oaks and strawberry trees. With 4 hectares of shadow, the campsite is an ideal place for quiteness and rest. Inside you will find warm showers, toilets, washin up and laundry sinks and botteled gas to buy.
The guarded beach in Le Moutchic is safe for the yong children and near, the windsurfers can have an ideal place to practice. Face to the beach, you find some restaurants. You can ride to the ocean easily by the cycle track (5 km) near the campsite.
The Bordeaux and Médoc aera is a nice place to visit, you can find some flyers to collect a lot of good adresses. The wine Chateaux, the UNESCO city of Bordeaux, the Arcachon Bay, the parties and festivals... And of course, since 1978, the Surfing French Pro organized in Lacanau Ocean in mid-august whith the successors of Tom Curren and Kelly Slater.
